Welcome, Paul!
This week, the Shrine welcomes Mr. Paul Koenig to our team as the new Coordinator of Programs & Pilgrimages.
Paul grew up in Montgomery County, PA, attending grade school at Saint Phillip Neri in Lafayette Hill and high school at Saint Joseph’s Prep in North Philadelphia. After graduating from Saint Joe’s Prep in June 2018, Paul went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Saint Joseph’s University. During his time at SJU, Paul was very involved in the Campus Ministry department, attending retreats, coordinating service programs throughout Philadelphia, and leading international immersion trips to El Salvador. These experiences developed his profound appreciation for the Philadelphia community and Ignatian spirituality, and his desire to live and work with and for others. Upon graduating from SJU in May 2022, Paul joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Transfer Pricing Consultant in both New York City and Philadelphia.
Paul is very excited to join the team at the National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia and looks forward to serving its patrons and mission. He is eager to coordinate and execute programs, retreats, and pilgrimages that enable Saint Rita’s patrons and community members to grow in their faith and commitment to peace on a local, regional, and international scale.
