Simple Lenten Meal
The Shrine hosted its first “Simple Lenten Meal” on Friday, March 3, 2023 in the Cascia Center. This is part of a larger initiative in South Philadelphia among the #Augustinian ministries and parishes. Included with each meal is a reflection offered on the “Seven Last Words” of Christ. Fr. Nick Martarano, O.S.A., the pastor of Annunciation B.V.M. and Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Parishes offered a reflection on “Today you will be with me in paradise.” For a full schedule of meals, visit the event page on our website.
