Thanksgiving Food Drive
For the fifth year in a row, the National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia will join Anthony’s Italian Coffee and Chocolate House to collect food for the Saint Gabriel Food Cupboard in Grays Ferry. The fact that the food cupboard generously serves our neighbors in and around South Philadelphia makes supporting them during Thanksgiving a no brainer! If you can, please bring nonperishable food items (cans and boxes) to Mass the weekends of Sunday, November 17, 2024, and Sunday, November 24, 2024, in support of this cause! You can drop your donation off in the vestibule of the Shrine, at Anthony’s (on 9th Street), or at the Italian Market Visitor Center. Thanks for any and all help you can provide!
