Synod Listening Session

  • Cascia Center 1148 South Broad Street Philadelphia, PA, 19146 United States (map)

As part of the worldwide Synod that has been called by Pope Francis, there will be a “Listening Session” on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Cascia Center.

Parishioners of Saint Nicholas of Tolentine, Annunciation B.V.M., and Saint Augustine, as well as members of the National Shrine of Saint Rita are invited to join together for this special listening session. It will also include time for prayer and reflection as we move toward a deeper understanding of what the Church needs going forward. A Synod is a process of listening and consultation with the People of God about the state of the Church. In the spirit of this Synod, the Augustinian Order is hosting listening sessions throughout its various provinces across the country and the world. All you need to bring are your questions, your ideas, and your hopes for how the Church and the Augustinian Order can become ever more responsive and responsible servants of God’s people. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us!
